Central Ohio Walk and Serve-A-Palooza

Join the Central Ohio Walk and Serve-A-Palooza in helping over 15 non-profit and community-oriented organizations who provide service to the community. The event will take place on October 25, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard. It will be a great way for older elementary, youth, and adults lend a helping hand in the community. Youth needing service hours for school will receive a letter indicating their participation.

Each non-profit participating will have a hands-on project available along with information and a representative from each organization.  Each organization will be assisted by a 4-H Club in Franklin County to help participants learn how to do the hands-on projects.

Participants can simply come the day of the event, bring $5 per person (with a $20 maximum for families) and a bag of non-perishable foods for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.  The Central Ohio Walk and Serve-a-Palooza is being organized by the Franklin County 4-H Council.
